Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary

The Research Assistant will assist on the project "Exploring Cypriot Narratives of Migration" under a limited term based on funding. The possibility of an extension depends on performance and fund availability.

Responsibilities

• Help code anonymized data through an application of Root Narrative Analysis
  • Maintain notes on coding decisions
• Potentially help produce the coding protocols for the study (depending on methodological and subject matter expertise level)
• Help with the literature review for the study
• Conduct the following on a recurring basis
  • Review anonymized data and code along root narrative categories adopted by the study's protocol
  • In the absence of above, review extant studies on Cypriot attitudes towards migrants and migration.

Required Qualifications

• Little to minimal prior experience.
• Ability to learn new processes quickly.

Desired Qualifications

• Prior experience as a research assistant.
