Occupational Therapist (OTR) : Restoring Independence (St. Augustine, FL) 🧘

Position Summary : Focused on Functional Independence

Are you a skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist (OTR) dedicated to improving patients' quality of life? Join our multidisciplinary team in St. Augustine, FL , where we are committed to helping patients regain independence through compassionate, evidence-based care.

The ideal candidate will provide hands-on, patient-centered care , focusing on developing personalized treatment plans that promote recovery and functional independence. We offer a supportive, team-oriented environment that encourages professional growth and clinical excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Patient-Centered Treatment

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be the expert in helping patients master the activities of daily living :

  • Evaluation & Treatment : Evaluate and treat patients with physical, cognitive, or developmental conditions that directly impact their ability to perform daily activities.
  • Personalized Plans : Develop and implement highly individualized treatment plans complete with measurable goals designed to maximize patient function.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration : Collaborate closely with physical therapists, physicians, and other healthcare providers to ensure cohesive and continuous patient care.
  • Documentation : Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress and outcomes in accordance with clinic standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Education : Educate patients and their families on home programs, adaptive techniques , and exercises to facilitate sustained recovery.

Requirements and Qualifications

We are seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled therapist to join our practice.

  • Licensure : Must be a Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR) in the state of Florida (or eligible to obtain licensure).
  • Experience : Experience in outpatient or orthopedic settings is strongly preferred.
  • Skills :
  • Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
  • A compassionate, patient-focused approach with a firm commitment to clinical excellence.
