Network Engineer (Dearborn)

Akkodis is seeking a Network Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Dearborn, MI. The ideal candidate should have experience with Lead design and implementation planning for Data Center LAN.

Rate Range : $ 65 / hour to $68 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Network Engineer Job responsibilities include :

• Lead design and implementation planning for Data Center LAN projects, ensuring compliance with standards and coordinating with server, storage, and facilities teams.
• Create logical / physical network designs, manage hardware procurement, and oversee change control, DNS updates, and documentation.
• Coordinate network refresh projects, software / firmware updates, and testing of new designs, hardware, and code with Network Engineering.
• Leverage deep expertise in Cisco IOS / NXOS / ACI, L2 / L3 switching, and strong project management skills to deliver high-quality, reliable network solutions.
