Scrum Master

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile delivery initiatives within a fast-paced financial services environment. This individual will guide cross-functional teams in delivering high-quality technology and business solutions while ensuring adherence to Agile best practices and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate has experience working in banking, capital markets, insurance, or fintech environments and understands the complexities of compliance, risk management, and enterprise-scale transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams delivering financial technology solutions.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Remove impediments and proactively manage risks impacting delivery.

• Partner closely with Product Owners to ensure well-groomed and prioritized backlogs.

• Drive continuous improvement through metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time, etc.).

• Ensure alignment with enterprise governance, regulatory, and risk frameworks.

• Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles and Scrum practices.

• Coordinate cross-team dependencies within larger Agile Release Trains or programs.

• Provide clear reporting and transparency to leadership and key stakeholders.
