PHD Machining Full-Time

PHD Machining is seeking a senior-level CNC Lathe Machinist who can program, set up, and run precision parts with minimal supervision. If you can take a print and deliver quality parts on time , we want you on our team.

What Youll Do

• Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes
• Write and edit G-code at the machine
• Read complex blueprints and GD&T
• Select tooling, set offsets, and optimize cycle times
• Hold tight tolerances and ensure first-pass quality
• Troubleshoot machining and programming issues

What Were Looking For

• 7+ years CNC lathe experience
• Strong CNC programming skills
• Expert blueprint reading and GD&T
• Ability to work independently from print to part
• Ability to communicate effectively and meet deadlines

Nice to Have

• Live tooling / Y-axis experience
• Aerospace or high-precision machining background
