Kassi , the exciting new rooftop restaurant at Hotel Erwin, is seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary leadership team in Venice Beach. If you thrive in a high-energy, hospitality-driven environment and love creating exceptional dining experiences inspired by the Mediterranean, we’d love to connect with you.
About the Role
As a Sous Chef at Kassi, you’ll be instrumental in leading our back-of-house operations. You’ll ensure smooth daily service, uphold the highest standards of quality and safety, and help craft a vibrant menu that transports guests to a sun-drenched Mediterranean escape.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure seamless, efficient service
- Uphold exceptional standards of food preparation, safety, and sanitation
- Oversee daily kitchen operations including scheduling, inventory, and purchasing
- Collaborate on menu development and contribute new, creative dishes
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Partner with the front-of-house team to deliver an outstanding guest experience
- Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment, coordinating repairs as needed
