Essential job functions include performing routine patrol assignments, enforcing motor vehicle law and ordinance violations, investigating vehicle accidents and related matters, enforcing State criminal laws and City ordinances, taking written reports on criminal and non-criminal incidents, searching persons and crime scenes, apprehending and arresting violent and non-violent misdemeanor and felony suspects, and attempting to resolve domestic disturbances.
