A respected law firm based in Oakland is seeking a Senior Trial Attorney with 10+ years of litigation experience to join its collaborative and purpose-driven team. With a focus on real estate, affordable housing, land use, and public agency law , this firm offers a unique opportunity to work on impactful cases that shape communities.

Position Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned litigator to take the lead on complex matters involving public agencies and mission-driven organizations . The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in all phases of litigation, including law and motion, discovery, and trial. A background in land use, affordable housing law, CEQA, HUD regulations, public contracts, or municipal governance is highly preferred. We offer a hybrid work environment with flexibility and a strong sense of purpose.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution, including trial.
• Handle law and motion practice, oral arguments, and discovery.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas, including real estate, land use, and public law.
• Represent public agencies and mission-driven clients in a variety of complex disputes.
• Contribute to a team-oriented, mission-driven legal environment.
