What You'll Do :

  • Assist in assessing patients' conditions and needs alongside our expert Physical Therapists.
  • Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions based on individualized treatment plans.
  • Monitor, document, and report on patients' progress and response to treatment.
  • Work closely with the therapy team to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and daily functional activities.

    Setting : Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant

    Schedule : Full-time, 5 eight-hour shifts

    Pay : $35 - $45 per hour

    Responsibilities

    Essential Functions of the Physical Therapist Assistant Role :

  • Assist in evaluation of client's daily living skills and capacities to determine extent of abilities and limitations
  • Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques including exercise Instruction, manual therapy techniques, activities of daily living, and Isokinetic program
  • Observe patients during treatments and reports observations to Physical Therapist
  • Communicate with staff and other health team members, to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programs

    • Qualifications

    Experience and Skills Required for Physical Therapist Assistant Position :

  • Associates Degree or equivalent from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program required
  • Unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant Licensure to practice required.
