Job Title : Assembly Technician Job Description

As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for lifting parts weighing up to 50 pounds onto an assembly line. For parts exceeding this weight, a small hoist is available for your assistance. You will follow instructions displayed on a computer screen to determine the next steps in the assembly process. Utilizing basic hand tools, you will assemble the product in a repetitive, yet essential, task.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a choice of shifts : 1st shift from 7 am to 3 : 30 pm and 3rd shift from 10 pm to 6 am. Employees receive two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Some employees choose to eat during the breaks and leave earlier, offering flexibility. Voluntary overtime is available, with 1st shift able to work before or after their shift, and 3rd shift can work additional hours after their shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hiawatha, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50 / hr.
