We are seeking a loving, dedicated, and organized Lead Infant Teacher to join our early childhood team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with infants, creating a safe and engaging classroom, and supporting the developmental milestones of our youngest learners.
The Lead Infant Teacher will be responsible for designing and implementing an age-appropriate curriculum, fostering positive relationships with families, and ensuring a high-quality early learning experience aligned with our centers philosophy and licensing regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide a warm, nurturing, and responsive environment for infants (ages 6 weeks to 18 months).Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that support cognitive, emotional, social, and physical growth.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.Observe and document each childs progress and communicate regularly with families.Collaborate with assistant teachers and other staff to ensure consistency and quality of care.Follow all state licensing requirements, health and safety guidelines, and center policies.Participate in professional development opportunities and staff meetings.Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with parents and caregivers.Qualifications :
Required : CDA (Child Development Associate) or Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education (Bachelors preferred).Minimum of 2 years of experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting.Strong knowledge of early childhood development and best practices in infant care.CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.Genuine love for infants and commitment to their healthy development.Why Join Our Team :
