Advanced Practice Nurse Medical Operations

Terraces at Los Altos, a distinguished HumanGood life plan community, is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) for its Health Center team. Under limited supervision, the DON plans, directs, organizes, and evaluates nursing services to meet the total needs of the community's residents; ensures an efficient health facility operation in cooperation with other departments and in compliance with state and federal regulations; and provides care in accordance with our “Philosophy for Person-Directed Care.”

• $135K-$160K (DOE) plus performance-based incentives
• $5,000 sign-on bonus!
• Making daily rounds to observe residents and ensure that staffing levels meet residents' needs;
• Ensuring all appropriate and necessary nursing care is provided in the Skilled Nursing setting;
• Interacting with residents and families / responsible parties and staff; Directing admissions and discharges within the Health Center; coordinating with the acute hospital, assisted living, and independent living staff;

Supervises nursing and management staff including scheduling, hiring, training, and evaluating; Completion of Accredited Licensed Nursing Program (RN)

Current CA RN License

or equivalent combination of education, training, and related professional experience

Minimum of 3-5 years of professional managerial experience in a related field

Proficient computer skills necessary to complete documentation, review electronic health records, and communicate with team members
