As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at an educational location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, staying visible to help deter security-related incidents, and interacting with students, staff, and visitors to provide exceptional customer service. Tue 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients, students, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the educational facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or potential threats.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious behavior within the location.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Collaborate with school administration and / or law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns and support emergency response efforts.
  • Remain alert and aware of surroundings while on duty, adapting to changing environments and conditions as required by the educational location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
