[job_card.job_description]Supervise and support the dispatch team, providing training and development opportunities. Conduct regular performance evaluations and address any staffing issues promptly. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment. Address customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner. Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and improve service quality. Ensure compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies. Develop and enforce safety protocols to minimize risk and ensure the safety of passengers and staff. Conduct regular audits and training sessions on safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of dispatch operations, including driver logs, route schedules, and incident reports. Prepare regular reports for senior management on dispatch performance and metrics. Maintain clear and effective communication with drivers, the dispatch team, and senior management. Keep staff informed of any route changes, schedules, or company policies. High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Transportation Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years experience in dispatch operations or a similar role. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation industry standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. Experience in managing a dispatch team. Commercial Driver License (CDL) with Air Breaks and Passenger Endorsement Certification in transportation or logistics management.
