We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Edgewood, Maryland. This is a part-time position with the following schedule : Monday and Wednesday, 8 : 30 AM–4 : 30 PM, and Friday, 8 : 30 AM–3 : 00 PM.
In this role, you will support daily operations by performing administrative tasks, managing communications, and ensuring the office runs smoothly. This position is ideal for individuals who excel at multitasking and possess strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities :
- Handle incoming calls professionally, ensuring inquiries are addressed or directed appropriately.
- Perform accurate data entry to maintain and update records.
- Manage administrative tasks, including filing, scheduling, and correspondence.
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, providing excellent customer service.
- Support office staff with various projects and daily operations.
- Coordinate and organize meetings, including preparing materials and scheduling.
- Ensure office supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained.
- Assist in managing leasing office duties, if applicable.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold professionalism in all interactions.
- Proven experience in administrative assistance or a similar role.
- Proficiency in managing inbound calls and providing excellent customer service.
- Skilled in data entry with strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with general office procedures and equipment.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in a leasing office environment is a plus.
- High level of professionalism and discretion.
