• Full-time, permanent
• Part-time available if desire
• Employed
• FQHC w / NHSC loan repayment
• 8-hour shift, Mon-Fri
• No weekends
• Provide public health service related to dental care to the patient population.
• Duties include performing different dental procedures, such as pulling teeth, drilling and filling cavities, performing dental exams, and helping patients learn about how to maintain their oral hygiene
• Use a variety of equipment, such as mouth mirrors, forceps, scalpels, X-ray machines, drills, probes, and brushes.
• FQHC patients are typically Medicaid patients, health insurance marketplace patients, and the uninsured.
• Many patients have not had routine dental care for much of their lives, and are usually very appreciative of treatment and counseling.
