Job Summary :

As a Production Engineer II, the applicant will identify production line priorities and address abnormalities with the goal of meeting customer delivery targets of cylindrical batteries. This role requires skilled data analysis and the ability to communicate with multiple teams and operators to develop and implement solutions.

Responsibilities :

• Perform engineering activities measuring success through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

of S (Safety), Q (Quality), C (Cost), D (Delivery)

Report SQCD status and improvement plan regularly (weekly / monthly)

Track production record, identify highest fallout, and report / address causes

(Send out quality alerts and report to team leader, finish with nonconformance (NCR) report)

Collaborate with other team members and departments to solve problems

All of improvement plans (Lessons Learned) have to be recorded in standard documents

(e.g. Control plan, Work Standard, Breakdown Maintenance (BM) / Process Down (PD) / Preventive Maintenance (PM) Guide, Operating Manual, etc.)

(Train production team members on new equipment or procedures)

Qualifications :

Lift / push / pull up to 35 pounds on occasion
