Position Overview

As a Seasonal Cashier at Sur La Table, you serve as the final touchpoint in the customer’s shopping experience. Your role is to ensure a welcoming, smooth and efficient checkout experience that leaves a lasting positive impression of Sur La Table. You’ll accurately process transactions, uphold our POS policies and procedures while delivering our #bestincenter customer experience, a company-wide standard for excellence in service, and contribute to sales by making thoughtful product suggestions.

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand and culture by creating memorable, educational experiences that inspire repeat visits and customer loyalty
• Smile, greet, and actively engage customers as they complete their shopping journey.
• Maintain a customer-focused, Guest Obsessed culture by ensuring transactions are quick, accurate, and personable.
• Maintains expertise by staying current on products, actively engaging in available training, and independently seeking out additional resources.
