We are seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for a full block locum tenens assignment with a well-established, highly accomplished Endoscopy Unit. This role offers a strong support team, modern equipment, and a smooth, efficient workflow.
Assignment Details :
- Dates : September 23 (orientation) October 1, 2025
- Schedule : Monday Friday, 9-hour shift with 1-hour lunch
- Call : 15-hour overnight call during weekdays, 24-hour weekend call
- Setting : Inpatient & Outpatient GI, hospital / procedures + call
- Volume : Average of 12 patients per day for procedures
- Credentialing : 60 days
- EMR : Athena, Cerner, Paragon, EndoPro
- Procedures :
- EGD (with biopsy, foreign body removal, bleeder cautery, varices injection)
- Colonoscopy (with biopsy, polyp excision)
- ERCP (diagnostic & therapeutic) preferred
- EUS preferred
- PEG / PEG-J placement, sigmoidoscopy, manometry, pH studies, capsule endoscopy
- Equipment : 4 Endo Suites, Olympus scopes, propofol anesthesia
- Travel & Lodging : Covered; nearest major airport and lodging recommendations provided
