Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior EDI ITX / Sterling Developer to support a large-scale healthcare and supply chain integration environment. This role is focused on hands-on map development, type tree creation, trading partner onboarding, and production stabilisation within an enterprise IBM Sterling / ITX ecosystem.

This is a deep technical mapping role - candidates must have direct experience building, tuning, and deploying ITX maps in production environments. Middleware-only profiles will not be considered.

Required Experience

8+ years of EDI / Integration experience

Strong hands-on experience with:

• IBM Sterling Integrator
• IBM ITX / WTX
• ITXA configuration

Experience with:

• Automation of TPA and code list migration
• IBM IIB / ACE / MQ integrations
• Cloud migration exposure (Mulesoft, Boomi, Azure is a plus)

Proven expertise in:

• Type Tree creation from scratch
• Map development in Design Studio
• Production deployment and troubleshooting

Experience working with:

• Trusted Link migrations
• CIMS or similar enterprise integration platforms

Strong understanding of:

• ANSI X12 standards (Supply Chain + Healthcare)
• HIPAA 4010 / 5010 standards
• SNIP validations (1 7 preferred)
• Experience supporting high-volume enterprise trading partner environments

Preferred Background

• Healthcare distribution/pharmaceutical/supply chain ecosystem (McKesson-type environment strongly preferred)
