Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care

Location: Fresno, CA
Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week (8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts)

A well-established urgent care clinic in the Fresno, CA area is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for NPs who are confident managing acute care needs independently and enjoy working with patients across the lifespan.

A minimum of one year of post-training NP experience is required.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages with a wide range of urgent and acute conditions

• Perform standard urgent care procedures including:

  • Suturing & wound care

  • Splinting

  • Incision & drainage

  • Basic orthopedic care

• Collaborate with on-site NP, PA, or physician when needed

• Conduct workers’ compensation physicals and complete appropriate documentation

• Provide patient education, counseling, and follow-up care

• Maintain clinical excellence and adhere to established protocols

• Clinic open 7 days/week (8 AM–8 PM)

• Full-time: 40 hours/week

• Must be able to work four weekend shifts per month

• Must be DOT certified or willing to obtain after hire

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner

• Minimum 1 year NP experience in urgent care, ER, family medicine, or primary care

• Active California NP license & DEA
