Procurement And Accounts Specialist

Lincoln Tech is searching for an experienced Procurement and Accounts Specialist to manage purchasing operations, vendor relationships, and financial processing for our campus. In this role, you will oversee the complete procurement cycle, maintain accounts receivable and payable functions, and ensure accurate inventory management. You will work independently while collaborating with campus teams to support operational excellence. You will report directly to the Director of Administrative Services.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage the full procurement process including vendor selection, purchase order creation and processing, and contract administration
  • Establish and maintain vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Process accounts payable including invoice verification, payment processing, and vendor reconciliation
  • Manage accounts receivable functions including payment tracking, collections follow-up, and account reconciliation
  • Oversee inventory management for campus operations including ordering, receiving, tracking, and distribution
  • Execute purchases based on departmental requests while ensuring compliance with budget parameters and institutional policies
  • Assist the Director of Administrative Services with projects, reports, and administration of Business Office operations

Requirements :

  • Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
  • Working knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Experience with PeopleSoft or similar ERP / procurement software systems
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred
