Welder KSM Industries Germantown, WI 2nd Shift Job Summary :

  • MIG weld on mild steel from 20 gauge up to ¼” thickness Complete weld jobs using different fixtures / jigs, open table set up, and work instructions.
  • Ability to read weld symbols, blueprints, and perform necessary job set ups to ensure customer specifications are met.
  • Ability to qualify to necessary weld specifications including AWS, ASME IX, and NAVSEA welding certifications.
  • Able to use conventional and precision measuring tools.
  • Follow safety rules and use safe work practices.
  • Ability to comply with all quality policies, specifications, and instructions.
  • Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on equipment and machines.

Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition, while following safety regulations.   Education and / or Experience Requirements :

  • High school diploma or GED At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing / welding environment.   Work Environment and Physical Requirements : Ability to stand and walk for the duration of work shift Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
