Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join a mission-driven nonprofit in Holland, MI. This fully onsite role oversees daily accounting operations, audit prep, payroll, and benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities for Accounting Manager

Lead monthly close, journal entries, and financial reporting

Prepare for annual audits and ensure GAAP compliance

Supervise accounting staff and review team work

Manage payroll processing and benefits administration

Support budgeting, grant tracking, and financial analysis

Qualifications for Accounting Manager

Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance

5+ years of nonprofit accounting experience

Strong audit prep, payroll, and benefits knowledge

Leadership experience highly preferred

Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
