[job_card.job_description]Review all project documents, plans, and specifications Quantify all DFH products according to specifications, door schedules, and floor plans Build hardware sets within estimating software and request material pricing based on quantities Prepare detailed proposal letters including clarifications and qualifications to clearly define included and excluded scope Review proposals with Preconstruction Manager before submission and participate in internal and client scope review meetings Communicate with clients throughout the estimating process and follow up on submitted proposals Attend weekly schedule / status meetings with the Preconstruction team Participate in internal product and process training Engage in career advancement initiatives, mentorship programs, and networking opportunities within the market Preferred : Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business, or related field (not required) Ability to learn new estimating software and tools Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Self-motivated with the ability to produce results under deadlines Willingness to learn local code and regulations relevant to DFH projects Commitment to professional excellence and accuracy Generous PTO and paid holidays Flexible work hours Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Healthcare plan with Healthcare Reimbursement Account (HRA) Life, AD&D, long-term disability, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan with company match Company social events and networking opportunities

Must Haves :
- Experience estimating Doors, Frames, and Hardware (DFH) projects
- Preferred : Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business, or related field (not required)
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to learn estimating and takeoff software (e.g., Emullion®, OST®)
- Self-motivated with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines
- Ability to read construction plans and understand local building codes and regulations
- Commitment to high personal and professional standards
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Willingness to sign a Confidentiality, Non-Disclosure, and Non-Solicitation Agreement
