Catering and Sales Manager
THE ROLE
The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for marketing, selling, and detailing catered events while collaborating closely with the sales, events, culinary, and operations teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and mentor the catering sales team to achieve sales and service goals.
- Develop and execute sales plans, prospect new business, and manage repeat accounts.
- Prepare proposals, quotes, contracts, and banquet event orders (BEOs).
- Ensure accuracy of client accounts and adherence to sales policies.
- Partner with operational teams to ensure seamless event execution.
- Manage client communication, tastings, pre-event details, and on-site support.
- Conduct post-event follow-ups and maintain accurate sales reports and tracking.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- 4+ years of sales or catering sales experience; venue or event industry experience a plus.
- Strong communication, organization, and supervisory skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and maintain a professional presence.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel as needed.
