About The Position

Job Title : RN

Shift : Night Shift

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum 2 years of ICU experience

License : Active RN license (temporary licenses will not be accepted)

Certifications : BLS, ACLS; CCRN preferred

Must-Have :

• 2 years of ICU experience
• BLS
• ACLS

Description : Unit highlights :

Must have ICU experience with a focus on acuity and skills.

Patient ratios are estimated at 1 : 2.

The unit has 16 beds and performs various critical care procedures.

Equipment includes ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, and GE Cardiac Output monitors.

Documentation is managed through a Meditech system.

Flexible scheduling is required, and shifts are planned a month in advance.

Floating may occur as needed.

Skills and experience preferred :

Experience with CRRT and hypothermia protocol.

Candidates with Meditech experience will be prioritized.

The patient population includes surgical cases, particularly oncology.

Dress Code :

Scrub color for RNs is royal blue.

Nails must be clean and healthy with no artificial enhancements.

Hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors.

Facial hair must be clean and neatly trimmed.

Tattoos and body art should be covered when possible.

Visible piercings, other than ear piercings, are prohibited.
