Field Service Technician
Nidec Minster Corporation, the largest manufacturer of material forming presses in the United States, has an immediate opening for a Field Service Technician . This person will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance to assist customers with their Minster supplied equipment, supervising / instructing personnel in setting up equipment in customer plants, and training customer's personnel on proper maintenance and operation of Minster equipment.
Job Responsibilities :
- Perform on-site troubleshooting, repair, maintenance installation & commissioning of Nidec Minster stamping presses and coil line systems. Occasional work on non-Minster equipment as well
- Commission new and remanufactured metal forming equipment in customer's plants
- Audit customer's metal forming equipment and report all repair requirements found
- Provide written and oral reports in English in an accurate and professional manner
- Promote service parts and preventative maintenance contracts
- Work flexible hours to support customer service needs including any portion of a 24-hour day 7 days a week
