Surgical Technologist

Surgical Technologist – Full-Time Position – Raleigh and Panther Creek Location

We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our high-performing surgical team in an ambulatory surgery center. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring operating rooms are prepped, sterile, and equipped for smooth surgical procedures. From setup to clean-up, you're the go-to for supporting surgeons, maintaining patient safety, and keeping things running like clockwork.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and set up sterile surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures

- Assist surgeons and operating room staff during surgeries, ensuring aseptic technique is maintained

- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and pass instruments efficiently

- Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after procedures

- Handle specimens appropriately and ensure accurate labeling

- Clean, disinfect, and restock ORs between procedures

- Collaborate closely with nurses, anesthesia, and sterile processing teams

- Uphold infection control standards and ensure regulatory compliance

Qualifications:

- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program

- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred

- Current BLS certification

- Minimum 1 year of experience in a surgical setting preferred—ambulatory surgery experience a plus

- Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterile techniques

- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills

Compensation:

- $23–$33 per hour, commensurate with experience
