Founding Software Engineer (San Francisco)

Role : Founding Software Engineer

Location : San Francisco, CA

Salary : $150k-$230k

I am partnered with an early-stage start-up who is looking to hire a founding engineer to help build out their product, which is helping modernize and change the way procurement is done within the US government. The technology acts as a marketplace to connect companies with relevant opportunities and to streamline the process, which in turn will save time and money for both the government and potential suppliers.

To be considered for this role you must have the following skills and background :

• Must be a US citizen due to the nature of the work
• Computer science degree from a top 30 university
• Have 1 year+ post-college work experience, or if you are a fresh grad, internship or demonstrable projects you have done yourself
• Experience with full-stack engineering ideally have worked with Python and TypeScript
• Proven ability to design AI agents and harness LLMs for practical applications
• Working experience in an early-stage start-up is highly desirable and will make you stand out from the crowd
