[job_card.job_description]Create new and correct, modify, and rewrite existing CMM inspection programs. Plan and perform check-piece, in-process, and final inspection. Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished goods to ensure quality and adherence to specifications. Proven experience / ability with mechanical inspection tools - calipers, optical comparators, bore gages, digital height gages, O.D. / I.D. micrometers, indicators, Rockwell hardness testing, gage pins / blocks, and microscopes. Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Excel. Resolve quality compliance problems with other internal departments. Frequently required to sit, walk, or stand. Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and / or use a keyboard. Frequently required to lift / push / carry items up to 50 pounds. Work on Specialized equipment. Perform other duties as assigned. High School Diploma or associate degree. Three years of CMM programming experience using MCOSMOS. Minimum of 3 years experience in CMM programming, inspection, measurement, and fixture development. 3 to 5 years Geometric Dimension & Tolerance (GD&T).
CMM Programmer :
- 1st shift. Shift hours are 7 : 00 am-3 : 30 pm M-F.
- The pay range is $28.00-31.50 / hour.
- Will be trained for 2-3 weeks to learn machines / products.
- Experience with MCOSMOS Software and knows how to run and operate a CMM Machine and willing to learn the inspection process per the QMS We are seeking a career-minded individual for the position of CMM Programmer.
