Responsibilities :

Plan, organize, and implement a variety of activities and programs for residents, including social events, entertainment, and recreational activities

Conduct assessments of residents' interests, preferences, and abilities to develop personalized activity plans

Collaborate with residents, families, and caregivers to ensure activities are respectful, inclusive, and meet the needs of our diverse population

Develop and maintain relationships with local community organizations, performers, and vendors to enhance our activities program

Provide opportunities for Residents to participate in arts, music, and other creative activities

Recruit and supervise volunteers to assist with activities and programs

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make recommendations for improvement

Maintain accurate records and reports of activities and resident participation

Participate in care planning and meetings to ensure activities are aligned with resident goals and outcomes

Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., recreation therapy, gerontology) preferred

Minimum 0 years of experience in activities or recreation direction, or related field

Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Basic knowledge of seniors' needs and preferences
