About the Role:
The West Region Clinical Account Manager is a position ideally based in Sacramento, CA. Primary responsibilities will include executing the clinical and business strategies to grow MED-EL hearing device sales in the West territory. In this role you will be providing life-changing technology to people with different types of hearing loss.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain valuable relationships with clinicians, all levels of hospital and medical center professionals, and other ancillary professionals providing services to candidates and recipients of MED-EL hearing solutions.
- Possess professional engagement skills, demonstrate products and services effectively, and ask for appropriate commitments with integrity while participating in the development of new business which results in sales growth.
- Under the direction of the Regional Director, partnering with regional teammates in making sales goals for assigned territory.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the causes and types of hearing loss, audiologic and otologic evaluation techniques and general treatment options, as well as competency in the anatomy, etiology of disease, indications and contraindications for cochlear implant and bone conduction devices.
- Provide demonstration and training to hearing health professionals as well as candidates and recipients on MED-EL hearing devices.
- Demonstrate competency in operating MED-EL equipment and software for performing all clinical tasks across all MED-EL product lines.
- Partner with local MED-EL team for executing in-person and virtual cochlear implant and bone conduction implant candidate outreach initiatives and events.
Position Qualifications:
Required:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology or equivalent
- Experience with hearing systems including cochlear implants and bone conduction.
- Strong computer literacy skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, CRM)
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Positive attitude, self-motivated and collaborative team spirit a must!
- Located within - or willing to relocate to – Sacramento, CA.
Preferred:
- Experience with MED-EL hearing systems, including ADHEAR, BONEBRIDGE, and the SYNCHRONY Cochlear Implant system.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience with cochlear implant and/ or bone conduction systems
