Position: Ultrasound Technologist
Location: G.V (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center, Jackson, MS

Qualifications:

• Certified by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
• Minimum of one (1) year experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide diagnostic ultrasound exam services on site and on call duty at the Medical Center.
• Receive patients and answer patient questions regarding exam procedures.
• Technologists will also use the VISTA radiology system to process and track patient radiology exams.
• Will monitor patients as needed to ensure patient safety while in the Radiology Service.
• Will be required to move or help move patients from beds and wheelchairs to exam equipment for exams and perform portable exams at bed site.
• Will perform some clerical duties as needed.
