HPM is seeking an entry level Field Engineer based out of our Englewood, CO headquarters. This position is intended for new graduates or craft moving into a more office-based role, and will provide exposure to the field operations and assisting the project team in ensuring the successful execution of the project. Desired candidates will be a recent graduate with a BS in Construction Management.

We work all throughout the front range and select locations throughout Colorado, as well as key projects out of state including our secondary office in Anchorage, AK. Pay : $75,000 - 80,000 annually DOE
Duties and Responsibilities :
Safety
- Proactively places a high priority on safety at all times and asserts that priority whenever and wherever needed
- Assists Project Superintendent with implementation and enforcement of HPM and project specific safety plans
- Participates in weekly site safety inspections, documents identified issues and reports results.
Quality
Becomes familiar with HPM’s culture and business decorum and how they affect client, subcontractor, and HPM team relationshipsAssists with maintaining record documents such as testing and inspections, progress photographs, etc.Assists Project Superintendent with walk-through inspectionsInspects project material deliveries for compliance with contract specificationsCompliance
Assists Project Superintendent with implementation and enforcement of HPM and project specific stormwater management plansParticipates in other project specific compliance requirements as assignedScheduling

Performs tasks related to the collection and analysis of cost data required to monitor project budgets and progressPerforms cost coding activities for time sheets and non-contract minor purchasesBegins to understand HPM’s quantity tracking systemProcurement / Tracking
Assists with procurement of non-contract minor field purchasingOrders, receives and inspects materials delivered to the project site for incorporationField Execution
