Job Description
General Purpose
We are seeking a skilled Alarm Security Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the installation, service, programming, and repair of a wide range of smart home technologies, including security alarms, home theater systems, surveillance cameras, access control, and networking devices.
The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver who enjoys working in both residential and commercial environments, delivering customized solutions and excellent customer service. Only experienced applicants will be considered.
Primary Responsibilities
- Install, service, and troubleshoot security alarm systems, surveillance cameras, smart devices, and A / V equipment
- Integrate technologies such as lighting control, thermostats, access control, and home networking systems
- Program control systems and user interfaces (e.g., touch panels, mobile apps, remotes)
- Ensure device compatibility and seamless communication across smart home ecosystems
- Customize system setups to meet each clients unique needs
- Provide technical support and maintenance to clients post-installation
- Maintain organized records of jobs, parts, and service calls
