Job Title : Material Handler Job Description

We are seeking a material handler to assist with our production and warehouse operations. This role involves operating a sit-down electric forklift to efficiently load and unload trucks with proper weight distribution and handle raw materials and finished products on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down electric forklift.
• Load and unload trucks ensuring proper weight distribution.
• Transport raw materials and finished products from the production floor.

Work Environment

The work environment is GMP compliant, requiring the wearing of hair and beard nets. The facility is well-lit, spacious, and has a pleasant aroma reminiscent of a coffee and bakery shop. It primarily involves handling dry goods such as powders with gravity-fed high-speed packaging equipment. The position is for the 1st Shift, from 5 : 30 am to 4 : 00 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00 / hr.
