As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities. Your responsibilities include overseeing access control, managing communications, and providing exceptional customer service to all personnel and visitors. By remaining visible and responsive, you will help to deter incidents and contribute to a secure environment, working in a team that values integrity, innovation, and putting people first.

Pay Rate : $20.10 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Time : Sat 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Monitor and coordinate communications between staff, visitors, and vendors at the utilities location to support security-related operations.
  • Dispatch security-related personnel to incident locations and / or areas requiring assistance, following site-specific protocols.
  • Maintain logs and records of all incoming and outgoing calls, dispatches, and incidents as per site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as directed.
  • Collaborate with on-site personnel and Allied Universal team members to help to deter unauthorized activities and / or behaviors.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting individuals at the location as needed.
  • Support emergency response activities and communicate with emergency services when required.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
