Masker

Salary: $16/hr - $20/hr DOE

Job description:

At Freedom Metal Finishing, we are seeking a dedicated Masker to join our team. As a Masker in our factory, you will be essential in preparing surfaces for painting by applying masking materials with precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Carefully mask and tape off specific areas of metal parts according to work orders and specifications.
• Inspects parts for cleanliness and proper surface preparation prior to masking
• Follow blueprints, diagrams, written, and verbal instructions to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to uphold safety and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and issues.
• Will assist in other duties like packaging and other basics services as needed.

Requirements & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Hours are 6:30 am to 3:30 pm from Monday - Friday. Overtime and weekend work are expected and required.
• Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Must be an effective communicator who can work well with all levels of management and staff.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Familiarity with masking materials and techniques is preferred but not required.
• Physical ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Strong work ethics and commitment to quality.
