Project Engineer
Position Overview
The Project Engineer will oversee land development projects from conception through completion, ensuring all facets of the project are executed efficiently and effectively. This role requires a deep understanding of civil engineering principles within land development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the execution of large-scale residential land development (grading, erosion control) projects.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D software for design and drafting purposes.
- Review progress sets and deliverables for accuracy and conformance to engineering design standards..
- Coordinate with engineers and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Oversee the permitting process and conduct feasibility studies for proposed projects.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding civil engineering projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in land development projects.Proficient in AutoCAD software.Strong knowledge of erosion control, grading, storage, and other general civil design principles for land development projects.Benefits
