Game Systems Programmer

A company is looking for a Game Systems Programmer to develop a console-focused, realistic racing title.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain core game systems including physics, collision handling, and multiplayer systems

Collaborate with gameplay and cross-disciplinary teams to deliver features that meet design and performance goals

Profile and optimize performance, memory usage, and stability across all supported platforms

Required Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience

Proven experience shipping titles on modern console platforms with platform-specific APIs

At least 5 years of professional game development experience as a gameplay or systems programmer

Advanced proficiency in C++; familiarity with Python or scripting languages is a plus

Experience with vehicle damage systems, race logic, or racing-specific gameplay features is highly desirable
