Network Engineer III

A company is looking for a Network Engineer III - Optical.

Key Responsibilities

Designs, engineers, and implements capacity on the existing DWDM network

Collaborates with Project Managers to deliver service requirements and provides updates on project status

Maintains customer commitments and resolves provisioning issues while managing workload to meet deadlines

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent education and experience

Minimum of five years of telecommunications and / or data networking experience

Experience in Optical Link Engineering and knowledge of DWDM platforms such as Infinera, Ciena, and Nokia

Proficient with Metasolv / M6 database and project management software

Familiarity with optical systems and signal flow designs using ROADM technology
