Job Description

• Cloud Environment Management : Manage and maintain the cloud environment, including provisioning resources, configuring databases, and monitoring performance to ensure optimal functionality.
• Performance Optimization : Implement strategies to optimize the performance of cloud resources.
• Security Management : Implement and maintain security best practices within the cloud environment, including user access control, data encryption, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Capacity Planning : Monitor resource utilization and plan for capacity expansion to accommodate future growth and workload demands.
• Cost Management : Identify opportunities for cost optimization within the cloud environment, such as optimizing resource utilization, implementing auto-scaling policies, and leveraging cost-effective storage options.
• Team Leadership and Mentoring : Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to junior members of the team, helping them develop their skills and grow in their roles.
• Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, developers, and business analysts, to understand their requirements and ensure the cloud environment meets their needs.
• Documentation and Best Practices : Document configuration, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices for managing Cloud resources, ensuring knowledge sharing and continuity within the team.
• Continuous Improvement : Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in cloud technology and data management best practices, and recommend improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Azure Databricks environment.
