divh2Business Developer / h2pThe best teams are created and maintained here. The business developer works to improve BrightViews market position and achieve profitable financial growth. This role helps to achieve long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates, and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions. The business developer manages the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing and is responsible for full cycle landscape and, depending on region, snow sales. The business developer collaborates and works with partners including operations, finance, marketing, and more to manage responses to bids in an effort to meet sales targets. / ppDuties and responsibilities include : / pulliWork with prospective customers to discover their points of pain and develop solutions. / liliAccurately forecast sales deliverables and KPIs / liliAchieve sales goals and be able to work independently / liliPerform sales prospecting using consultative sales techniques to build long-standing business relationships; marketing; pricing / liliPrepare and conduct heavy phone prospecting, sales presentations, virtual demonstrations, and handle contract negotiations with minimum supervision / liliIdentify customer needs and utilize solution-based selling techniques to fully demonstrate value of BrightView services / liliCultivate and maintain relationships with prospects and existing clients / liliBuild and maintain trust-based professional relationships with key decision makers / liliPlan daily and hit specific activity benchmarks and close business / liliLog activity consistently and reliably in CRM (Salesforce) / liliWork in a fast-paced environment while operating with a high sense of urgency / liliCommunicate proactively with all decision makers and influencers / li / ulpEducation and experience : / pulliBachelors degree or equivalent work experience / liliExtensive face-to-face (B2B) selling experience at the mid-to-senior levels, 3-5 years of experience / liliExperience managing multiple projects and able to multi-task in a large territory / liliProficient with computer programs including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint / liliExperience with a CRM or SFA tool / liliProven track record of sales goal attainment and pipeline management / liliHighly competitive, positive, and results driven / liliExcellent presentation skills / liliExcellent oral and written communication skills to build client-centric and solution / value-based proposals / liliWorking experience with social media / liliLocal knowledge and contacts in one or more market segments preferred / liliAbility to be self-motivated and self-directed / liliExperience in the service industry with commercial contract sales desirable / li / ulpPhysical demands / requirements : / pulliConstant operation of a computer and other office equipment such as a laptop, cell phone and sales programs / tools / liliPosition is a combination of mobile and sedentary work; must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time / liliCustomarily and regularly spends more than half of the time working away from BrightViews places of business selling and obtaining orders or contracts for BrightViews services / liliAbility to travel by car, train, and plane / liliPosition needs to be able to traverse uneven grounds and walk on jobsites with clients and branch teams for periods of time up to 4 hours / li / ulpWork environment : / pulliWorks both indoors and outdoors / liliField based position, combination of office and customer facing / li / ulpBrightView Landscapes, LLC is an equal opportunity and E-Verify employer.
