Patient Ratios : 2 : 1 and 1 : 1

Unit staffing description : self scheduling with feedback from supervisors

Type of equipment : various

Documentation system : Meditech

Scheduling requirements : every other weekend overtime available

Floating policy : can be floated as needed to other ICUs depending on volume and acuity. On rare occasion may be floated to PCU

Must have :

2 years ICU, previous CVICU experience

Preferred Skills / Advanced Skills Needed :

Meditech experience preferred

Hemodynamic monitoring, ACLS, CPR, Ventilated patients. Post CABG care

Specialty / Unit Certifications Required :

Active Texas RN License-Temp license will not be accepted

Procedures performed on unit :

Multiple via intensivist

Patient Experience Required :

Bedside shift report required with updates to white board. Rudeness is not tolerated
