Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER)

Shifts Available: Day and Night Shifts

We are seeking a fast-acting and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) - ER to join our per diem team. The ideal candidate can adapt quickly to emergency situations, providing efficient and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide immediate triage and assessment of incoming patients.

• Perform rapid interventions to stabilize patients experiencing trauma, injury, or acute medical conditions.

• Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency treatments as needed.

• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.

• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of treatment provided.

• Educate and counsel patients and their families about post-treatment care and follow-up.

• Ensure adherence to emergency protocols and safety measures.

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of employment.

• Minimum of 2 years of ER or emergency care experience.

• Ability to perform in high-pressure, fast-paced situations.

• Familiarity with emergency medical equipment, including defibrillators and trauma tools.

• Strong decision-making and communication skills.

Schedule Requirements:

• Per Diem, flexible schedule

• Must be available for at least 1 shift per week, with weekend availability preferred
