AZRN - Pediatric Emergency Department

The end date for this assignment will be 05/24/25 COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not required. Flu vaccination will be required October through April. Flu exemption applications must be received and approved by Phoenix Children's prior to starting. Anyone not vaccinated for either Flu or COVID-19 will be required to sign Declination & Masking Protocol agreements and must mask during the full respiratory virus season. This assignment will float between three campuses but may be assigned to a primary location. Main, 1919 East Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ 85016 Avondale, 1665 North Avondale Boulevard, Avondale, AZ 85392 Arrowhead, 19007 N. 67th Avenue, Glendale, AZ 85308 Rotating Shifts 7a-7p, 9a-9p, 11a-11p, 1p-1a, 3p-3a, 7p-7a Experience 2 years' pediatric emergency nursing experience. Children's hospital experiencepreferred. Education Requirements: Two-year (ADN) degree in nursing,a four-year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree. BSN preferred. Certification/License/Registry Requirements: Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date. Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association. Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association.
