Salary : $22.00 -25.00 Hourly (DOE)

Position Summary :

This role is more than just a WOK COOK . It is the opportunity to act as a brand ambassador to bridge cultures through food. Take our patrons on a culinary adventure through education, quality customer service, and a positive experience at our restaurant. We are counting on you to be an extension of our brand.

The WOK COOK requires expertise in high-heat wok cooking, a deep understanding of Burmese / Southeast Asian flavors and the ability to prepare traditional dishes with precision and speed.

Job Responsibilities :

• Prepare and cook authentic Burmese and Southeast Asia wok-based meals
• Use traditional wok techniques to create bold flavors while maintaining high-quality cooking standards
• Maintain proper cooking temperatures and wok heat control for consistency in every dish
• Work quickly and efficiently to prepare multiple orders while ensuring food presentation and portion accuracy
• Set up and stock the wok station with fresh ingredients, sauces and necessary kitchen tools
• Ensure all food is cooked in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Assist in preparing ingredients, such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats and making sauces
• Monitor food inventory and communicate with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth workflow
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe workstation throughout the shift
• Collaborate with chefs, and other kitchen staff to uphold the restaurants
