RTW/Home Health OT - Various Locations Across BC

Position Details

This position will appeal to OTs seeking a diverse community-based practice serving clients across the rehabilitation continuum. Duties include:

• Conducting functional assessments & preparing reports
• Completing job site visits to develop rehab & GRTW plans
• Hospital discharge planning and assessments
• Home assessments to determine equipment & service needs
• Case management to facilitate client access to other health services
• Development and supervision of rehab assistant plans
• Liaising with funders, family and healthcare team

Qualifications

• Member of COTBC or eligible for registration
• Driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with insurance payers is an asset
• Experience with WorkSafeBC programs is desirable
