As a Security Officer - Bank Access Control in Winston Salem, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a financial institution location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to promote a secure environment, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This position requires driving responsibilities, offering a dynamic workday while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Pay Rate : $23.00 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Control access to the location by verifying identification and / or credentials of individuals entering the premises.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain security-related protocols.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and / or clients with questions related to access procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and identify potential concerns.
  • Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or violations of site policies according to established procedures.
  • Collaborate with location management and Allied Universal supervisors to address access control concerns and maintain a security-related presence appropriate for a financial institution.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
